There’s a lot of passion involved in the shooting of Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah’s first LO2NO-budget (120.000 €) feature film, Image. The two former students of the Brussels film school Sint Lukas reinvested the 2011 VAF Wildcard prize money for their graduation project ‘Broeders’ to tell a story about image and perception of the migrant population in Brussels, mostly of Moroccan descent. The cast includes Gene Bervoets, Laura Verlinden (Death of a Shadow) and Nabil Mallat.
